Although the movie’s budget was a reported $145 million, Bailey only took home a tiny portion of that in his paypacket – and was reportedly paid $450,000 for his role.

What other roles have we seen Jonathan Bailey in?
Beginning his career as a child actor in Royal Shakespeare Company productions, Bailey took on the role of Gavroche in the West End production of Les Misérables when he was just eight years old.
Since then, he has taken on many other theater roles, and received the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2019 for his part in Company.
On screen, Bailey became known for his roles in the crime drama Broadchurch, the satire W1A, and the Phoebe Waller-Bridge written comedy Crashing.
He gained international recognition for his starring role in the Regency romance series Bridgerton; and playing the part of Tim in the romantic drama miniseries Fellow Travelers in 2023 won him a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
