FromSoftware’s action RPG Elden Ring has reached a new milestone and has sold 28.6 million copies, leaving behind the Dark Souls franchise’s combined sales—of 27 million units.

Elden Ring was first launched in February 2022 and with its rich narrative made a stronger fan base, supporting it till this date. Developed by the creators of the legendary Dark Souls series, Elden Ring took a bold step into open-world design, offering players an environment to explore freely, strategize, and engage at their own pace.

This sense of freedom in RPG games doubles the fun of playing, allowing them to have more control in the game. Its easy-to-use features like shifting from tougher bosses to other parts of the game make the gameplay enjoyable by not restricting users to one aspect.

Scheduled for release in 2025, introduces a survival co-op mode, that demands players to exert teamwork to beat down the enemies and formidable boss—NightLord.

The other aspects involve the glide mechanics, players can summon a magical bird to have a view from above, they can replenish at Sites of Grace, and more. These brief revelations of details have already created the buzz about this game.

Furthermore, its innovative approach of three in-game days and nights makes the experience more stirring. However, Junya Ishizaki will be the director for Nigthreign, making fans curious about how it will turn out.
