The fans of Dragon Ball: Sparking zero are very excited as the long awaited update for the game has arrived.
New Update— Addressing Complaints
This update will elevate the gaming experience to whole new levels with improved graphics and enhanced gameplay mechanics. The game has gone under maintenance on December 19, 2024 after the users have showed an online rage after noticing many functionality issues in the game.
Major issues that were noticed, include time lag, network issues, players quitting and balancing in online matches. The official handle of the game on X (formerly twitter) announced the update after acknowledging the concerns of users.
They issued a slight warning to the players who were involved in excessive quitting rates in the online matches, and emphasized to complete the games regardless of their position in game.
The update include a number of updates and improvements like, points adjustments for rage quitting and excessive disconnections. More points will be awarded to the team that got disconnected and less points will be awarded to the team that disconnected in an online match.
Timeout penalties for excessive disconnections are also imposed. During the maintainence players won’t be able to play certain battle modes, still patienece of few hours is worth getting rid of rage quitting problem that has been getting on nerves since the beginning.

Dragon Ball: Sparking zero developed by Spike Chunsoft and released by Bandai Namco, came out as one of the most successful game of Dragon Ball series. Breathtaking visuals, high speed battles that stay true to the anime and video games and authentic moves contributed to its success.
This online game was a huge success since its launch and broke many records of the parent franchise. Dragon Ball: Sparking zero was the third best-selling Bandai Namco game of all the time and the fourth best-selling video game in 2024.
More than 3 million copies of the game was released in first 24 hours of the game. Unfortunately, the player count was dropped by 90 percent in less than one month due to multiple issues.
Now as developers have heard the pleads and launched update to fix everything, there is hope that the game will revive its lost popularity among the players. A mixed feedback was seen from the fans about the update of Dragon Ball: Sparking zero.
