Upon killing the unicorn, it becomes evident it possesses magical powers. One of the people involved who want to use this for potentially evil is Grant’s character.

In the trailer, Ortega’s character clearly feels something is afoot, telling her dad, “Dad, please just listen to me. We need to give the little one back, OK? Bad things will happen.”

Poulter’s character reveals it can cure cancer, calling that ability “the biggest one”.

When and where was it filmed?

According to Deadline, Scharfmann’s directorial debut was filmed amid the break of the SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023.

The production chose to shoot across Hungary to get that lush forest backdrop worthy of its fairytale story inspiration.
