The NFL Playoffs are heading to the Conference Championships. But which teams made it out of the Divisional rounds and into the final four?

Let’s take a look at who’s continuing their journeys to New Orleans, this weekend.

Which Teams Have Qualified For The 2024-25 NFL Conference Championships?

Reigning, defending Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs comfortably booked their place in the post season, having secured the AFC Conference title, boasting a 15-2 record for the regular season. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and co. secured the AFC No.1 seed with their 29-10 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, thus avoiding the Wild Card round altogether.

The Chiefs will face the Buffalo Bills, this weekend after overcoming the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions pursuit of a first ever Super Bowl appearance was firmly halted by a Jayden Daniels inspired Washington Commanders, who have reached their first NFC Championship game since 1991 following their 45-31 victory in Michigan on Saturday.

Facing the Commanders will be the Philadelphia Eagles, who once again had Saquon Barkley chasing greatness with another standout performance, seeing off the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 at the Linc.

Elsewhere, the Bills just about edged into the AFC Championship game after a dramatic late Mark Andrews fumble saw them defeat the Baltimore Ravens 27-25 in the Buffalo snow. Sean McDermott’s team are now just one game away from the Bills first Super Bowl since 1993. But can they overcome the four falls of Buffalo that befell the franchise between 1990 and ’93 when they lost four consecutive Super Bowls?

When Are The 2024-25 NFL Conference Championships Happening?

The Conference Championship games both take place on Sunday January 26, with the NFC game kicking off first at 3pm ET/2pm CT/12pm PT before the AFC Championship is contested three-and-a-half hours later. The Super Bowl takes place at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday February 9.
