Marvel Rivals fans gear up, as the game aims to add 2 new characters each season; sounds fascinating, right? The game launched with 33 characters on the roster and kept on adding new ones.

Season 1’s New Additions and Future Hero Plans

Season 1 has already begun, and it has brought even more heroes into the fray. Recently, the iconic Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four, the other two, including The Thing and Human Torch, will arrive later in the game.

Now, there will be a shift in the pace of adding characters, The game’s director, Guangyun Chen, shared in an interview about the new game plans. He said,

“We’ll actually be breaking down each season into two halves. The length of one season is three months. And for each half of the season, we will introduce a new hero. We just eventually want to continue to enhance the experience and, you know, keep everyone excited in our community.”

This means that players can expect the inclusion of 8 heroes every year, which seems like a perfect plan. Moreover, there will be regular updates, and every season is going to feel like a fresh start, enhancing the gaming experience.

xciting Leaks, Map Diversity, and Community Concerns

Chen emphasized, “Every season, we’ll be rolling out fresh seasonal stories, new maps, and new heroes.” This strategy not only keeps the game alive but also engaging. Upon asking about map diversity, the director showed satisfaction and mentioned introducing more “map diversities” in the future.

Marvel Rivals aims to avoid the criticism other games are facing for bringing new characters after a long waiting period, like Overwatch 2. Previously, the fans of these two games held the comparison, and OW2 players felt like losing it, as the addition of characters is quite slow-paced.

The excitement doesn’t stop here; a leak suggested the names of characters that may make an appearance in this season or the upcoming ones, like Professor X, Daredevil, and more.

However, the community is raising concerns regarding the bots in matches, and they have been facing issues with the Invisible Woman. As she uses her passive ability, the bots in the opponent team stop moving and only attack when she returns to visibility.

Players want to know what is happening, yet no official statement has been shared about it. Despite some problems, with this dedication from the team, the future looks incredible, and Marvel Rivals fans stay updated as more surprises are waiting ahead.
