- Lamar Jackson apologised for his expletive-laden rant
- Baltimore Ravens narrowly beaten by Buffalo Bills in NFL Playoffs Divisional round
- Late Mark Andrews fumble saw Ravens’ last minute hopes dramatically dashed

Lamar Jackson was in no mood for pleasantries after the Baltimore Ravens saw their Super Bowl dreams die a painful, last minute death against the Buffalo Bills, last night.
The Ravens quarterback thought he had thrown the pass that would tie the game when he launched towards tight end Mark Andrews with just over a minute left on the clock. However Andrews, who had also suffered a costly fumble earlier in the fourth quarter, dropped the two-point conversion and the Ravens never saw the ball again, with Buffalo running out 27-25 winners.
Jackson himself endured a first quarter interception, despite only throwing four throughout the entire regular season. In the second-quarter, the QB also committed a costly fumble, allowing Bills linebacker Von Miller to return it 39 yards to Baltimore’s 24-yard-line. Four plays later and Josh Allen was finding the end zone on a one-yard touchdown to put the hosts into a 14-7 lead.
The defeat clearly left Jackson frustrated, leading to the two-time MVP venting his frustrations in an expletive-laden post-game press conference.
A frustrated Lamar Jackson referred to his own turnovers when asked about Mark Andrews:

"Tonight — the turnovers. We can't have that [expletive] … That's why we lost the game … hold on to the [expletive] ball. Sorry for my language." pic.twitter.com/iC7C4JJzon
“Like I’ve been saying all season, every time we’re in situations like this, turnovers play a factor,” Jackson explained to reporters who were gathered after the Divisional round game. “Penalties play a factor. Tonight, it was turnovers. We can’t have that s**t. And that’s why we lost the game.
“As you can see, we’re moving the ball wonderfully. It’s just, hold onto the f****g ball. I’m sorry for my language, but this s**t annoying. I’m tired of this s**t.”
Despite Jackson enduring a night to forget, his opposite number, Bills QB Josh Allen, had nothing but praise for the four-time Pro Bowler, telling CBS that Jackson is “one of the greatest to ever step on the football field.”
