- There are three seasons of Ted Lasso available to watch
- Series focuses on a US coach who takes on a struggling English soccer side
- Season four of Ted Lasso has yet to be formally greenlit

Expectation is growing that season four of Ted Lasso will be greenlit soon, but in the meantime if you want to catch up on the first three seasons then you can.
Rumors that Ted Lasso will return for a fourth season have been growing in recent months, with talk that confirmation will be made soon.
It is thought that Jason Sudeikis is on board for a new series. Without him any return for the show would be difficult as he plays the titular character and is also a writer on the show.
Back in October 2024, Deadline reported that Warner Bros Television Group chairman and CEO Channing Dungey said that they were in early production conversations about season four. “It’s exciting,” she said at the time. In addition, Warner Bros Television had taken up options on Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift – all three have been part of the Ted Lasso cast from the start of the show’s run.
More recently, Nick Mohammad, who played assistant coach Nate Shelley on the show, took to social media to announce he had shifted some of his tour dates to fit in with a filming schedule. While he wouldn’t say the show involved, he did have a hand-painted ‘believe’ sign – which was iconic to the show.
What was it about
Ted Lasso told the story of an American football coach who is recruited by an English soccer team and how he subsequently takes them to glory.
The Apple TV+ series won a host of Emmys over its initial three-year run from 2020 to 2023 as fans loved its mix of humor and feelgood vibes – underpinned by a genuine sense of pathos and characters who went on meaningful story arcs.
It was assumed that the show had come to an end at the conclusion of season three, when the titular Ted waved goodbye to AFC Richmond and returned to the US.
Where can I watch Ted Lasso
If all this talk has whetted your appetite for Ted Lasso and you want to rewatch the series – or are new to it – then you can. All three series are available on Apple TV+ or the Apple TV+ Amazon Channel in the US.
