When she said she wanted to play Britney Spears in a biopic
When asked by Drew Barrymore on her self-titled talk show, Brown revealed that she wanted to play Britney Spears because she could relate to much of her story.
“Just growing up in the public eye watching her videos, watching interviews of how when she was younger. I mean, same thing with you,” Brown told the fellow former child star.
“I see the scramble for words [in her interviews], and I don’t know her, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story in the right way and hers only.”
One is in the works – with Spears’ blessing and Jon M. Chu in the director’s chair – so she might get her wish.
