- NetEase officially bans Blitz for unfair gameplay advantages
- Players using Blitz won’t face penalties if they stop now
- New characters and Central Park map arrive in Marvel Rivals

The developers of Marvel Rivals, NetEase have made a bold move, officially banned the third-party plug-in Blitz.
Blitz Outlawed: NetEase Takes a Stand
This decision has been taken while considering the unethical use of these tools, some players have been using it for unfair advantage. This announcement has sparked discussions among the community, with some supporting the decisions, while others are concerned about possible consequences.
For those who aren’t aware, players who use the Blitz tool can get access to hidden data that doesn’t normally appear in the game, which can be called extra data.
Not only in Marvel Rivals but it is used in other games like Fortnite and League of Legends. Using this tool reveals the hidden stats including: damage dealt, healing, kills, assists, and ultimate timing.
Now those who could utilize it took an advantage and made it difficult for others to have a fair battle. NetEase mentioned in the announcement in official blogpost, “Recently, we’ve seen the use of a third-party plugin known as Blitz.
This program injects itself into our game process, giving users confidential information like damage and healing statistics. It allows players to selectively ban heroes, predict opponents’ ultimate abilities, and more, severely undermining the fairness of our game.”
The developers are quite serious about the cheating issue and cannot tolerate it at any cost. They have done the same in the past; cheaters have to face the penalty upon getting caught. NetEase has been dedicated to working to maintain a fair gaming environment and taking measures to prevent it.
Play Fair or Face the Risk!
Now, it has labeled Blitz as “cheating software” and has completely banned its use in Marvel Rivals. According to their statement, “As such, we deem this program as cheating software and will no longer allow its use during gameplay.”
NetEase believes that such tools promote an unjust gaming experience. This seems like a remarkable move. Still, some players are concerned; those who have used Blitz in the past are worrying whether they will face the punishment or not.
However, NetEase has assured that they won’t have to face any consequences, “But fear not! Players who have previously used this software will not face any penalties as long as you refrain from using it in future games.”
But have also warned the players to avoid using it or else they will be responsible for their actions. Although players may not use it, it’s still an issue as the software is also used in other games, and they fear that they might get punished for having it installed.
NetEase has yet to address this concern; till then, players are suggested to uninstall it to prevent any unwanted problems. The new content, like characters and map, central park, a fresh location for players to explore, and the battle has already arrived.
So it’s better not to take any risks as who wants to miss playing The Thing and combat with Dracula in Vampire -themed map.
