- The Boys final season will see Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins join the cast
- Padalecki and Collins will reunite with former Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles
- Details of the guest roles has not been revealed yet

The Boys is set for a Supernatural reunion, with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins joining their former co-star Jensen Ackles for the final season of Prime’s blood-soaked satirical superhero drama.
While details of Padalecki and Collins’ roles have not been confirmed as of yet, Prime have confirmed that they will share scenes with Ackles, reuniting the trio from their days on the CW show.
News of Padalecki and Collins’ arrival on the show was announced across The Boys’ social media accounts, with Ackles appearing on camera with a message for Padalecki, saying, “Hey Jared, we got work to do…again” with Padalecki then appearing with the same message for Collins, who seems enthused and then confused, asking, “what are we doing?”
The news of the castings has obviously been wildly popular with The Boys fanbase, with the post running up over 1.6m likes at the time of writing. Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in the series, is also set to star in a prequel show, called Voight Rising, alongside Aya Cash, who plays Stormfront.
Following their work on Supernatural, Padalecki and Collins have both remained busy with the CW Network, with Padalecki starring in four seasons of Walker while Collins played Harvey Dent in Gotham Knights. Padalecki is also currently developing a medical drama for CBS with Anna Fricke, who served as a showrunner for Walker. Collins also starred in Amazon crime thriller Encounter shortly after Supernatural wrapped.
The fifth and final season of The Boys will air in 2026, with the premiere episode entitled Fifteen Inches of Sheer Dynamite. Speaking with GamesRadar+ at San Diego Comic Con last year, showrunner Eric Kripke said of the ‘super big, apocalyptic’ final season, “there will probably be lots of death. That’s the fun of the final season. You can blow the doors off it. There’s no guarantee who’s going to survive because you don’t have to keep [the cast] for another season. So you can have really shocking, big things happen all the time. The writers, as we’re starting to cook it up, we’re really enjoying that.”
As for the rest of the details currently available about the finale of The Boys, here’s everything we know so far.
