Travis Kelce has put the rumours to bed. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is returning for a 13th season in the NFL. And Taylor Swift fans seem very excited about it.
Reports had swirled around every major sports outlet since Super Bowl LIX that the 35-year-old would be calling time on a career that has seen Kelce win three Super Bowls and go to 10 Pro Bowls.
However, via Pat McAfee and a Wolf of Wall Street inspired announcement on his New Heights podcast, Kelce revealed he would be running out at Arrowhead Stadium once again for the 2025 NFL season.

But it wasn’t merely football fans who were reacting to Kelce’s career plans, on social media. Kelce was part of the Chiefs team who were emphatically defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month at Super Bowl LIX. The tight end had admitted he’d been weighing up his options after the ‘hard reality’ of the defeat in New Orleans.
