A Minecraft Movie is building a path towards cinemas and the design of its Enderman has got audiences even more excited for its arrival.
With just a few days to go before its early April release date, fans have begun soaking up all the information they can get about director Jared Hess’s upcoming video game adaptation.

However, when a new TV spot gave them their first look at the game’s Enderman character, viewers were left even more eager to check out the film.
For those unaware, an Enderman is a sinister presence in the Minecraft gaming universe. They’re typically long, tall and dark in shape with glowing pink eyes. If a player looks directly into these peepers, an Enderman will attack.

However, those who survive their gaze long enough risk winning Ender Pearls, a valuable commodity that can be used to transport and reach the game’s End.

Will A Minecraft Movie feature an Enderman?
Yes, it looks like A Minecraft Movie will feature at least one Enderman.
Their presence was confirmed in a very brief TV spot promoting the action scenes in the upcoming movie.
However, their sinister look has divided fans. Some seem to love it while others remain terrified.

When is it released?
A Minecraft Movie is released on 4 April 2025. It’s directed by Hess, the same filmmaker behind cult hits like Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre.
The film boasts a starry ensemble cast including Jack Black, Jason Momoa and The White Lotus actress Jennifer Coolidge.
Other comedy actors confirmed to make an appearance include Matt Berry, Kate McKinnon and Flight of the Conchords star Jemain Clement. Meanwhile, the popular YouTuber Valkyrae is also rumoured to star in a cameo role.
