Bruce Willis is celebrating his 70th birthday with his family around him.

His friend and ex-wife Demi Moore shared a carousel of photos of him with her and their daughters with him on his big day.

“We love you,” Moore wrote in her Instagram caption. Rumer re-shared a viral video from a few years ago of Willis and Moore happily dancing together. Rumer wrote in her caption: “To the King… I love you, Daddio.”

Willis and Moore were married for 13 years from 1987 to 2000 and share three children, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah. The couple have remained close friends since their divorce. Moore mentioned on the press tour for The Substance that she still sees Willis once a week.

What happened to Bruce Willis’ health?

Willis has remained out of the spotlight in recent years due to his retirement from acting. He was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, a condition caused by brain damage that affects a person’s communication abilities.

A year later, his family confirmed he was now living with frontotemporal dementia. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”

What were his big roles?

Willis is especially known for his role in Die Hard. Away from that, he films Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, and The Sixth Sense among others. His first screen appearance was Miami Vice in 1984 and his guest role in season six of Friends was also particularly recognisable.

In his four decades of acting, Willis’ movies grossed over $5 billion worldwide. He was nominated for five Golden Globes, one of which he won, and three Emmys. He won two of these, for Moonlighting and Friends.
