Jack Black surprised A Minecraft Movie fans before issuing them with a warning to not cause chaos during the movie.
Black plays Steve in director Jarred Hess’s A Minecraft Movie. He’s someone who’s obsessed with mines who gets transported to a colorful video-game world.
However, one of the movie’s key Steve scenes involves a ‘Chicken Jockey’ – a reference to a rare occurrence in the Minecraft video-game series where a zombie rides a chicken.

The moment has led to chaos erupting during screenings across the country. As a result, Black used his surprise appearance to urge the movie’s young attendees to remain calm.
Whether they did or not remains to be seen although they were certainly excited at Black’s random cameo in their cinema auditorium.

What did Jack Black say?
As seen on the clip above, a mystery voice welcomes fans to their screening of A Minecraft Movie before adding “please no throwing popped corn” and “absolutely no Chicken Jockeys!”
Black then reveals himself to the crowd who then erupt into cheers, with many whipping out their smartphones to capture the moment.
“I am Steve,” continues black, showing off his Minecraft pick axe. “Are you ready to rock? Please enjoy A Minecraft Movie,” he yells, before doing a quick lap of the cinema and high-fiving a few lucky fans.

Many fans on social media reacted to Black’s appearance by commending his apparent love for a tidy and respectful cinema experience.
