- Other female artists interviewed Billie Eilish for British Vogue
- Eilish is the May cover star
- She was interviewed by Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and other stars

We’ve just had the all-female space trip with Katy Perry; now we have a mainly female interview with Billie Eilish and other artists. Eilish, 23, is the cover star for May’s issue of British Vogue. However, it was not the cover that had fans talking, but her star-studded interview, during which female artists asked her questions.
Some questions were deeper than others, but fans loved the sisterhood between the stars. Interviewing Eilish was stars like Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter, which ignited all our popstar dreams.
In particular, Carpenter, 25, asked Eilish a fun, mundane question about her favorite gas station snack.
In the last year, Eilish has been on fire, and despite not winning any Grammys, her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, has been certified two times platinum.

Some interesting questions were answered in Eilish’s interview, including the gas station question, which fans are dying to know the answer to. Keep reading to see how Eilish answered.
What did Billie Eilish tell Sabrina Carpenter?
While others focused on hard-hitting questions, Carpenter was asking the real questions fans want to know. Unfortunately, the answer Eilish gave was a bit underwhelming.
To Carpenter, she said, “I don’t hit the gas stations that much anymore because I drive an electric car, but I’ll always, always get gum. I’ll buy gum anytime I see it. Good old spearmint. Never fruity, never a bubblegum. Disgusting. Also, a Monster energy drink… hehe.”
What else did Billie Eilish get asked?
The singer was asked many things by her fellow celebrities and musicians. Interestingly, Grande asked Eilish what makes her happiest, and Eilish just answered, “dopamine”.
A practical answer, but a good one. She added, ” I love activities. I love doing stuff. I can’t be stagnant. That’s what really makes me happy, things that make me feel activated and stimulated and alive. So… anything that involves dopamine.”
Both ladies have expressed a desire to collaborate, which we hope they will soon!

Billie Eilish’s opinion on her name
Actor Idris Elba had an interesting question about Eilish’s name, which is a traditionally unisex name. Replying to Elba, Eilish said she hated her name as a kid, and wanted a “pretty, flowery name”. Although she learned to love her name because it is the “only possible choice for who [she is]”, and it links to her grandfather William.
Her favorite hair color over the years
Colman Domingo, an actor and playwright, asked Eilish lots of profound questions, including what her favorite hair color she had is. For context, she had jet black hair, black and green hair, blonde, and many other colors.
In response, Eilish told Domingo: “Well, I really like to romanticise two specific periods in my life: the green roots and the red roots. Green and black especially felt like such a personal and career-defining look for me. I felt so exactly who I was at that time. I’d never really seen anything like that before, and it felt really nice to have something that felt like mine. That shade of green was like my colour for so long. I loved it so much. Hair, nails, clothes. It was such a magical period for me, and it was so intense. I felt like I was becoming who I am.”
Her Burrito dream
Singer SZA asked Eilish if she had dreams and premonitions or recent nightmares. Her last dream wasn’t a nightmare, but a dream about a burrito she wanted from a taco truck, but they couldn’t make it. Then she woke up so hungry, so she “drove like 45 minutes to like the best vegan spot in LA called El Cocinero in Van Nuys” to get the burrito.
Since she was young, Eilish has been vegan. Openly, she has spoken about how she was a vegetarian before, and she details in her interview about learning about the dairy industry and how that led her to veganism.
When you’re hungry, you’re hungry!
Who would sing to her in heaven?
Concluding the interview, Domingo asked Eilish who she’d like to greet and sing to her in heaven, and she said The Beatles or Frank Sinatra.
Side note: She said her favorite songs by the band are Something, I’m Looking Through You, She’s Leaving Home, In My Life, and more because she could “just go on” about the band.
