Forget movies and TV shows based on board games and toys, a new show is in the works based on one of the most infamous Subreddit pages on the internet.
According to Deadline, Comedy Central UK is making a new TV show based on the hugely popular ‘Am I The A**hole’ Subreddit.

This particular corner of the popular message board site Reddit is one of the most widely-visited and frequently features users asking other users if they were in the wrong regarding particular situations.
The same site reports that the format of the show will invite regular members of the public to share their own divisive experiences. Meanwhile, a panel of comedians and comics will quiz them regarding the nature of each incident.

Topics will be varied – with guests dishing on relationship, family arguments and general moments of shocking behavior. Together, the comics and show host will decide once and for all whether they were indeed the a**hole in their situation.
What is the AITA Subreddit?
‘Am I The A**Hole‘ is one of the most popular Subreddit forums on Reddit. At the time of writing, the board has around 24 million subscribers based all over the globe.
The page is pretty open about its purpose too. As described in the Subreddit description, AITA is “a catharsis for the frustrated moral philosopher in all of us, and a place to finally find out if you were wrong in an argument that’s been bothering you.
It continues, adding “Tell us about any non-violent conflict you have experienced; give us both sides of the story, and find out if you’re right, or you’re the a**hole.”
Who will host the show?
This new show will be hosted by British comedian Jimmy Carr. He’s no stranger to fronting comedy programmes.
In the UK, he hosts a range of them, with the most recent being Prime Video’s Last One To Laugh.
Speaking of his latest hosting gig, Carr said “There are an impressive number of a**holes in our country and they’re finally getting the recognition they deserve on national television.”
The show is expected to film later this year. Currently, it’s unclear whether it will air in the United States as well as Comedy Central UK.
