Larry David doesn’t mince words when it comes to talking about President Donald Trump.
The Curb Your Enthusiasm star recently went viral after he penned a spoof essay for The New Yorker that poked fun at comedian Bill Maher’s recent visit to the White House.

Entitled ‘My Dinner With Adolf’, the satirical piece envisioned a fictional meeting between David and the Führer.
Using hyperbole, the outlet made it clear that his aim wasn’t to compare the President to Adolf Hitler. Instead, it was to highlight how anyone can appear level-headed and “human” during a single, one-off interaction.

The piece was a response to Maher’s recent time spent with Trump and his comments on the experience. Speaking on his show Real Time with Bill Maher in early April, the host said the President was more “gracious” than he expected him to be.
The pair have famously publicly swapped barbs in recent years.
Now, an old clip featuring David sharing his brutally candid thoughts on Trump has resurfaced – and he doesn’t hold back.
Larry David Trump video resurfaces
Despite doing the rounds online recently, the clip in question was actually recorded back in early 2024.
In it, David labels Trump a “little baby” for apparently ignoring the results of the 2020 election. He went on to call him a “sociopath” and “a sick man.”
When asked about how he feels about Trump’s reaction to the 2020 electoral results, David explained he “can’t go a day without thinking about what [Trump has] done to this country because he’s such a little baby.
“He’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of [the election]. I mean, it’s so crazy. He’s such a sociopath. He’s so insane. He just couldn’t admit to losing. And we know he lost! He knows he lost!” he added.
“And look how he’s fooled everybody. He’s convinced all these people that he didn‘t lose. He’s such a sick man. He is so sick.”
How have fans reacted?
Fan reaction has largely been on David’s side.
Many responded with praise to the comedian’s ability to speak his mind. One fan said, “I absolutely love Larry David. Love that he put that moron bill Maher in his place. Love that he’s not afraid to speak out about how horrible trump is.
