Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has welcomed a ‘secret’ new baby – and also revealed her name.
Grint took to Instagram to share the good news on Sunday 27 April. The actor – who famously played Ron Weasley in the hugely popular Harry Potter franchise – is married to to fellow actor Georgia Groome.

‘Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint,” read the caption accompanying a picture of his newborn daughter. The newborn can be seen wearing a grey cardigan and a cute white onesie with her name embroidered into the outfit in gold thread.
Grint went on to heap praise on to his new addition, calling her “A 10/10 baby (so far)”.

He also added some extra thanks to the doctor that helped her into the world, thanking him for “always delivering.”

How many kids does Rupert Grint have?

Goldie is Grint’s second child with his wife Groome. Their first daughter, Wednesday, was born in 2020.
Speaking to Glamour shortly after becoming a dad, Grint said he was loving the new role, adding that he’s “changed as a person.”
Grint admitted he was “still kind of coming to terms with what being a dad is.”
He added, “it’s so much fun. I feel like I’ve changed as a person for sure.
“It kind of happened overnight, lifestyle-wise. I stopped smoking straight away. I’ve started sleeping so much better — I used to be a horrific insomniac, now I’m sleeping.”
Who is Rupert Grint’s wife Georgia Groome?

Like Grint, Groome is also and actor. The pair have been together since 2011.
Despite being together for quite a while, the pair prefer to keep many elements of their romance private. As such there’s not too much information out there about how the the couple met.
Even though Grint has posted a handful of pictures of his daughters on Instagram, he told Jimmy Fallon that he isn’t a fan of oversharing.
“Ultimately, I think it just doesn’t go with my personality,” he told the host. “I’m quite a shy person and the thought of kind of sharing my life just didn’t seem like it would really fit.”
Some of Groome’s most well known roles include the 2006 crime drama London to Brighton.
However, she’s perhaps best known for her starring role in 2008’s teenage romantic comedy Angus, Things and Perfect Snogging.
