A TikTok influencer is being roasted online after sharing her dining experience, which involved being served a whole tomato and a lemon.
Cassidy Miller uploads the clip from LPM Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas, where she tucks into the fruit and veg in place of a bread basket.

As she takes a bite into the juicy tomato served at the French Mediterranean restaurant, Miller’s eyes widen in amazement of the taste – and now the moment has gone viral.

Five million people have watched Miller’s raw tomato euphoria and thousands have flooded the comments section shocked at what they’re seeing.
Influencer wowed by tomato
“OK, so we’re at LPM in Vegas and they give out tomatoes and lemon as your little bread at the table,” Miller said in the TikTok video.
“Which is great for me because I’m gluten-free, so this is, like, iconic.”
Miller then slices a sliver of tomato onto her plate, “So I’m assuming we just cut. We’ll do a little bit of lemon,” she continued.
She squeezes over some lemon juice, drizzles olive oil, and adds a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
She then toasts the camera, saying “cheers”, and bites into the chunky slice. Her eyes light up and she shakes her head in disbelief.
“Wow. So fresh, so good,” the influencer says.
“Do they let you wash the dishes for the full experience?”
Naturally, the internet is baffled by how excited she is to eat a raw tomato – and they’re making it known in the comments.
“Acting like tomato slices are a delicacy is frying me 😭😭” one user wrote.
“If someone brought me a tomato in place of bread I would contact my lawyer immediately,” commented another.
“Girl it’s a tomato relax 🤣🤣” a third wrote. “They make you cut it too? 💀” said another.
One person joked, “Do they let you wash the dishes for the full experience?”
Another added “Not the eyes lighting up at the bite of a seasoned tomato 😭😭”
Miller has seemingly acknowledged the backlash and has started to share spoofs of her original clip. However, people aren’t finding them funny.
In a follow up clip that she captioned “This one’s for my haters 🍅🍋” included the hashtag #tomatogirl, Miller is seen smugly reenacting the moment.
The comments just kept on rolling:
“mama they ain’t making fun of you for eating this, they’re making fun of you for paying for this at a fancy restaurant lmao” one user wrote.
Another commented: “The issue is not the tomato and lemon love, it’s that the HIGH SCALE restaurant gave you a tomato and lemon as “bread for the table” 😂”
Meanwhile, a representative for LPM restaurants clarified to TODAY.com that tomato and lemon are served in addition to fresh bread, not in place of it.
“Every guest is welcomed with a complimentary presentation of fresh tomatoes, lemons, our signature olive oil, and salt & pepper in addition to warm baked baguette – a gesture that reflects both generosity and authenticity,” Nicolas Budzynski, LPM’s CEO, told the outlet.
“In the tradition of Mediterranean family meals, guests are invited to prepare their own simple tomato salad at the table, and we wanted to create a unique way to reflect that and welcome guests into LPM’s home.”
