A house once owned by Taylor Swift is on the market for a cool $14 million.

Boasting seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, Page Six says the Cape Cod pad was purchased by the Anti-Hero hitmaker in 2012 for just $5 million.

At the time, she was dating Connor Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The family, which has dominated American political life since the 1800s, have a long connection with the coastal region in Massachusetts. It was a favourite getaway spot for John F. Kennedy and the rest of their huge family.

How long did Taylor Swift date Connor Kennedy?

When Swift was 23, she dated the 17-year-old

Before they dated, Swift wrote the track Starlight on her fourth album Red all about Connor’s grandparents Ethel and Robert F Kennedy.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal at the time of its release, the Tortured Poets Department singer detailed how she was inspired by the time period they met in.

Swift said, “It immediately made me think of, like, how much fun they must have had that night. It was back in the late ’40s. I ended up reading underneath that it was Ethel Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy.”

“So I just kind of wrote that song from that place, not really knowing how they met or anything like that.”
