Kesha has clarified that she was not joking about the suggestion that she wanted to be married more than 40 times

The Die Young singer responded to PEOPLE magazine, labelling her comments as a “joke” in a recent interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, saying that she was deadly serious about her desire to be a serial bride.

“Kesha jokes that she wants ‘at least 40 husbands’: Maybe a Couple Sugar Daddies,” the headline read.

“Not a joke,” she posted on X, quoting the article.

The internet was full of intrigue for Kesha’s plans.

Bisexual.org, a online resource for bisexuality responded directly to Kesha’s post asking for further information.

“How does one apply,” the account asked.

To which the TikTok singer replied, “I guess you gotta ask and see.”\

“We support that,” someone simply replied.

Someone else said, “How can I be down?”

Her LGBT+ fans had questions

Many asked if she was accepting applications from all sorts of people, including the entire spectrum of the LGBT+ community.

Another asked, “Are you accepting sugar mommies as well? Asking for a friend.”

What else did Kesha say in the interview about her relationship?

Kesha told Drew Barrymore that she has “always been a bit witchy,” and how it has manifested in her previous relationships.

She also highlighted how wanting to have lots of partners is something men get celebrated for, so why not her?

“There are men who’ve said that, and they’re not shamed for it, so why not?” she told the ET star.

The Animal singer has been recently linked a string of men, one of whom she was engaged to. Details of her love life have been kept under wrap.

While on the show, Kesha sported an intricate top with engagement rings from “all the men that have tried” to marry her.
