- Donald Trump has labelled The Boss a “dried out prune”
- Trump not happy with Springsteen’s criticism of his presidency
- Trump also recently launched an unprovoked attack at Taylor Swift

In another completely normal day at the office, the actual President of the United States Donald Trump is using social media to call Bruce Springsteen a prune.
So, a nice quiet Friday for Donald Trump, then.
The Boss had taken aim at Trump and his administration on stage during a recent concert in Manchester in the United Kingdom.
The President vs The Boss
Kicking off his Land of Hopes and Dreams tour, Springsteen said in Manchester, “In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration. Raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”
In a very measured (insert eyes wide open emoji here) response, Trump took to his Truth Social platform and called Springsteen a “pushy, obnoxious JERK” and “dumb as a rock”. Trump also called the man who gave the world Born To Run, Darkness On The Edge of Town, The River, Nebraska and Born In The USA “Highly Overrated” and “not a talented guy.”
“I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” Trump wrote. “Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy.”

Continuing his tirade further, Trump added, “This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country,” the president wrote, adding, “Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”
This isn’t even the only outburst Trump has made against a popular recording artist today. The former Apprentice host called Taylor Swift “no longer hot” on Truth Social in an unprovoked attack on the record breaking Grammy hoarding popstar who recently concluded the highest grossing world tour in music history.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Trump said in his recent post.

Trump had initially said he hated Swift because the Shake It Off star endorsed his opponent Kamala Harris in the 2024 US Presidential election. The 78-year-old Trump posted today despite Swift not having referenced the convicted felon since she endorsed Harris last year.
