Deliver Me From Nowhere, the Bruce Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White as New Jersey’s favourite son outside of Tony Soprano, now officially has a release date.

The Emmy winning star of The Bear is set to play The Boss in a retelling of Springsteen’s recording of his seminal Nebraska album. Stephen Graham will star as Springsteen’s father while Jeremy Strong will feature as his manager, Jon Landau.

Elsewhere in the supporting cast, Odessa Young will star as Faye, Bruce’s love interest. Paul Walter Hauser will play Mike Batlan, Springsteen’s recording engineer during the Nebraska sessions. Marc Maron will take on the role of Chuck Plotkin, Springsteen’s producer, while Gabby Hoffman will play The Boss’ mother.

Nebraska – An Integral Part of the Bruce Springsteen Legacy

Deliver Me From Nowhere is directed and written by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart, Black Mass). Cooper’s movie will follow a key moment in Springsteen’s career and the recording of his sixth album Nebraska, which was released in 1982.

The album was created in a very low-fi manner using four-track cassettes in Springsteen’s bedroom. Nebraska would go onto become one of The Boss’ most critically praised releases. Many other artists would cite it as a major influence on them, such as Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, The Killers, Zach Bryan and The National.

Let It Rip, Boss

According to reports, Springsteen visited Deliver Me From Nowhere’s New Jersey set. He also gave Jeremy Allen White his blessing. “I only had to see him on The Bear, and I knew he was the right guy, because he had that interior life, but he also had a little swagger,” the singer told The Telegraph.

The film’s release date had, up until now, been scheduled vaguely for the Fall, but no details were known beyond that. Now, however, Deliver Me From Nowhere is confirmed as hitting theatres on October 24, 2025 by 20th Century Studios.

No trailer has been released at the time of writing, although it likely won’t be long before one drops now a release date has been revealed.
