They saw that the mother was attempting to hide and lured her out with some tuna and water. Upon hearing “at least one or two” kittens mewling from inside the diesel generator, Trivium’s bassist Paolo Gregoletto called the fire brigade.

The rescue attempt

When the firefighters arrived, they prepared a box to house the kittens and keep them out of the sun.

A crew member, Glenn, had to climb inside the generator for five whole minutes in order to help the kittens escape. The remaining people outside couldn’t see or hear him the entire time. Eventually, Glenn found the kittens and passed them one by one to the fire brigade.

“He gets the rest of the day off!” one member of the tour party was heard saying.

When he got out, having rescued the kittens, Glenn was presented with a firefighter’s helmet and took photos with the firefighters from Cobb County Fire Department in Georgia.
