With a new month comes plenty of new shows on streaming services, with a range of well-loved shows returning, as well as interesting new ones.

January is traditionally a month for binge watching shows – nobody has any money and its cold, wet and dark outside.
But now its February and its still cold, wet and dark outside, and now you need new shows to binge. Fear not! There are plenty of new and returning shows on streaming services this month that will sate your desire for new shows to watch. Here are six we are excited to see.
Bridgerton season 4 part two (Netflix)
Season 4 of period drama Bridgerton has been split into two parts, because reasons, with the first four episodes dropping last month. The final four episodes drop on February 26, and resume the story of Benedict Bridgerton and his relationship with Sophie, who he met at his mother’s masquerade ball. Of course, there is a catch – Sophie attended in disguise and has spent most of her life as a maid. Will love manage to conquer the problems the pair face?
The ‘Burbs (Peacock)
This series is based on the cult 1989 movie that starred Tom Hanks. This time, the young couple are played by Keke Palmer and English comedian Jack Whitehall. The premise remains the same as the original – the couple move into the house the husband lived in as a child, but when a new neighbor moves in, old secrets are brought back to the surface, and the seemingly quiet little neighborhood now faces deadly threats. Expect plenty of twists and turns in this dark thriller.
The Night Agent season 3 (Netflix)
Shawn Ryan’s espionage thriller The Night Agent is back for a third season on February 13, but one that promises changes. We pick up the story of FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who is now operating without his partner Rose, after the pair went their separate ways at the end of the previous season, back investigating some of the threads revealed in season two, involving the shady Jacob Monroe (Louis Herthum) and a dodgy US presidential election, which could all lead to something even bigger than Sutherland could have reckoned on.
The Muppet Show (Disney+)
Its time to play the music… yes, after many years, The Muppet Show is back. Initially as a one-off event, this could lead to a new series depending, as Kermit the Frog admits, on how the night goes. With Seth Rogen executive producing (and appearing in it), the classic show has been lovingly recreated, with all the old gang back together, but with promises that the gags have been updated – at least a little. With Sabrina Carpenter bringing some megastar sparkle – alongside Miss Piggy, of course – this revival could be well worth a watch.
Paradise season 2 (Hulu)
Post-apocalyptic thriller series Paradise is back for a second season from February 23. This time, the characters leave the bunker and explore what is left after the world ended. Xavier Collins (Sterling K Brown) goes on a search for his wife, and will encounter new survivors on the way – so expect more flashbacks to what their life was like previously. Of course, the characters – friends and foes – from the bunker will still be there, with more secrets to be revealed.
Scrubs (ABC and Hulu)
After more than 15 years since the previous episode of Scrubs aired, J.D. and friends are back at Sacred Heart Hospital for more surreal shenanigans.
The new season sees J.D. (Zach Braff) reunited with his old pal Turk (Donald Faison) as they scrub in together for the first time in a long time, according to Deadline. Older – but not necessarily wiser – the pair confront changes in mediciene, their own lives, as well as a new intake of interns. Fans will be glad to know that Elliot (Sarah Chalke) is back as a series regular, with Carla (Judy Reyes) and Dr Cox (John C McGinley) popping up as recurring guest stars. However, there is no word on whether J.D.’s nemesis, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) is returning. The show premieres on ABC, and shows on Hulu the day after.
