Another month and another round of blockbuster movies to enjoy on the big screen at the theater. Here are the ones we are most excited to see.

With autumn drawing on and the weather getting colder, there is no better time to head to a nice, warm movie theater to enjoy a couple of hours of escapism from everything that is going on in the world right now.
As always, the Hollywood movie industry has not disappointed and there is a great range of movies out this month to cater for all tastes, from teen drama to biopics and new takes on established favourites.
Here are the six movies we are most excited to see in November.
Wild Horse Nine
This comedy drama with a stacked cast including John Malkovic, Sam Rockwell and Parker Posey, has been getting rave reviews. The action centres on two CIA agents who are sent to Easter Island in 1973, just before the famous coup in Chile. The longtime partners have to deal with their own pasts, as well as current conspiracies in among the famous statues on the iconic island – and a new friendship with a rebellious student that threatens everything. Out 6 November.
Ebenezer
We are getting towards that time of the year (we won’t use the ‘C’ word just yet) so here we go with yet another take on the Christmas Carol and Ebenezer Scrooge story. Johnny Depp stars as the eponymous miser who is visited by three ghosts in an attempt to get him to change his ways. The tagline is ‘the name you know, the story you don’t’ so you can expect a different take on the established story. Find out on November 13.
Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping
The Hunger Games have already been a hugely successful movie series, and this new film is a prequel to the films focusing on Catniss Everdeen. This time the action, based on the novel of the same name, takes place years earlier and focuses on Haymitch Abernathy – well known from the original movies – as a 16-year-old when he is selected for the 50th Hunger Games. Out November 20.
The Cat in the Hat
The Cat in the Hat is an iconic children’s book and was also a successful-ish movie in 203. Now, a new animated version is coming to the big screen, but – given how traditionally difficult it is to do just to Dr Seuss in a movie – this version is positioned as ‘loosely’ based on the book.
This time the Cat is given the task of trying to cheer up siblings Gabby and Sebastien, who are struggling to adapt after moving to a new town. The Cat has the mission – but it is his last chance to prove himself to his bosses at the IIII – Institute for the Inspiration of Imagination and Inspiration LLC – or face losing his hat.
I Play Rocky
Rocky has become an iconic movie since its release nearly 50 years ago. The movie, following small-time boxer Rocky Balboa and his shot at the big time, spawned a franchise and launched Sylvester Stallone as a major movie star.
But the story behind the movie is just as interesting, and this is the subject of I Play Rocky – the title coming from Stallone’s insistence from any company that picked up the movie that he would play the title character. It focuses on Sylvester’s struggles as a relatively unknown actor and writer trying to get his movie commissioned – as well as making ends meet. Out on November 6.
Focker-in-Law
It’s been 16 years since we last saw the accident-prone Focker family on the big screen, but now they are back and the tables have been turned. The Little Fockers of the last movie are now all grown up (that makes some of us feel very old…) and now Henry wants to propose to a woman who Greg and Pam feel is completely mismatched to him. That woman is Olivia, played by Ariana Grande, who used to be an FBI hostage negotiator, which will no doubt please grandad and former CIA agent Jack (Robert Di Niro). Awkwardness and hilarity will no doubt ensue.
