Innersloth and CBS Studios have announced the first round of stars who will be providing voices to the cast of its upcoming Among Us TV series. – including a big Hollywood name.

In an excited post on its website, Innersloth revealed that Randall Park (best known for Fresh Off The Boat), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) and Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings trilogy) are all taking parts.

The Among Us TV show will be based on the premise of the wildly popular game, where a shape-shifting alien (sometimes more than one) has infiltrated the ship travelling through space and taken on the form of a crewmate and is now gradually murdering the other crewmates, as well as sabotaging elements of the working of the ship, and the dwindling number of real crewmates have to work out who the alien is before it’s too late.

Park will be the voice of ‘Red’, who is captain of The Skeld, the ship they are on. Innersloth describes Red as a ‘people pleaser’ and ‘blowhard’ who has ‘failed upwards.’

Johnson will be ‘Purple’, who is the Skeld’s chief of security. Purple is described as having trust issues, and is suspicious of everyone, as well as being sarcastic.

Brown will be orange. Orange is in charge of HR and described by Innersloth as a ‘spineless corporate shill’ who wants to eliminate redundancy, redundantly and is the sort of person to fire someone via email.

Finally Wood will be ‘Green’, the intern who is just happy to be there and does whatever they are told and is paid in pizza.

More cast names will be revealed soon, according to Innersloth.

As yet, there isn’t a release date for the show, and neither does it yet have a station that it is appearing on. However, production is moving forward quickly, so presumably these details will be announced soon too.
