- Zendaya, 27, stars in the new Luca Guadagnino-directed movie Challengers
- Zendaya is seen wearing matching outfits to the movie during her press tour for the film
- Challengers also stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist and follows former tennis prodigy turned coach Tashi Duncan

It’s no secret that she’s one of the best dressed celebs of the moment.
But this month, Zendaya, 27, has shown the world what a fashionista she truly is – by matching her outfits to her new movie Challengers during the press tour for the film.
The Luca Guadagnino directed movie – which also stars Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist – follows the story of former tennis prodigy turned coach Tashi Duncan, whose strategy to redeem her husband’s losing streak takes an unexpected twist when he must face off against his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend.
So fans were thrilled to see that Zendaya has managed to incorporate the sports theme to each of the outfits she has worn during media interviews to promote the film.

This week, the star – who has been in a relationship with her Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland since 2021 – stepped out in a pair of white stilettos which had tennis balls skewered onto the heels. The fun shoes were paired with a sporty holographic silver Loewe dress with black trimming and a pleated miniskirt for the photocall in Rome.
Other looks have included another Loewe gown (this time, it was glittery green and floor-length, with a graffiti-like graphic of a figure hitting a tennis ball) and a white two piece from Lacoste – a brand which was founded in 1933 by tennis legend René Lacoste.
This isn’t the first time that Zendaya has deployed this clever marketing tactic for her movies.
Earlier this year, the actress wore a Mugler space suit and a sculptural Torishéju gown and other futuristic ensembles for Dune: Part Two. Her co-stars followed suit, with Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy also getting the memo and dressing to fit the film.
And Zendaya’s valiant effort also follows Margot Robbie’s commitment to matching movie fashion, when she was promoting her blockbuster Barbie last summer.
Among Robbie’s offerings were a custom Armani Privé look inspired by the ‘Superstar’ Barbie from 1977; a black Prada dress, leather gloves and a sheer cape which were reminiscent of the 1964 ‘Black Magic Ensemble’ doll; and a gorgeous blush pink satin Vivienne Westwood gown, in a nod to the ‘Enchanted Evening’ doll from 1990.
