- Fried chicken purveyor KFC is launching its first fragrance, which smells like a barbeque
- The fragrance – called No 11 Eau de BBQ – is available in 100ml bottles
- Sales from the fragrance all go to The KFC Foundation, which supports young people to reach their potential

Summer is coming, which means the barbeques will be coming out again soon (if they haven’t already) and it is a smell that many of us love when it comes wafting over the fence – the smokiness mixed with meat and barbeque sauces. But would you want to smell like a barbeque yourself? Well, now you can, thanks to KFC.
Yes, the world-famous fried chicken business has released its own signature fragrance, inspired by barbeques.
KFC has launched a limited-edition perfume called No 11 Eau De BBQ, which, according to the company, has “smoky wood and charcoal notes that embodies the essence of a classic BBQ experience,” along with undertones of blended spices and marinated meat.
Of course, it also ties in with KFC’s latest item on its menu, the Ultimate BBQ Burger.
If this all sounds up your street, then a 100ml bottle – in sleek black with red stripes – can be yours for just $14 from the KFC Shop from May 6.
But the good news is that all proceeds from sales of the fragrance go to The KFC Foundation, which supports grassroots organisations that are empowering young people to unleash their potential and build a positive future, according to the company. This isn’t the first foray into fashion for a food brand recently. Potato chip brand Pringles announced last month that it had collaborated with rubber shoe maker Crocs to create a range of footwear inspired by Pringles – even including a pocket for snack-sized packs.
