- Thirteen games are joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog library this month
- Games being added include Read Dead Redemption 2
- 10 of which are available to Extra and Premium members, with the remainder in the Classic Games Catalog
PlayStation has announced the latest games to join the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog for May, which includes Red Dead Redemption 2, Deceive Inc., Crime Boss: Rockay City and Stranded: Alien Dawn.
Alongside new game additions, Sony recently showcased a car that can be driven using a PlayStation controller.
In all, 13 games are being added to the library, 10 of which are available to Extra and Premium members, with the remainder in the Classic Games Catalog, which is only available to Premium members. These titles will all be available from May 21.
Rockstar Games’ open world cowboy adventure game Red Dead Redemption 2 is the most eye-catching release – although it is a return to the Games Catalog for the title, having been on of the first games in the Game Catalog two years ago.
The list of games in full is:
- Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4) – Rockstar Games’ hugely successful take on the end of the Wild West era
- Deceive Inc (PS5) – multiplayer game of subterfuge and stealth
- The Sims 4: City Living (PS4) – Take your Sims to the city and experience everything it has to offer
- Crime Boss: Rockay City (PS5) – Take on the role of an underworld player and try to become the new kingpin
- The Settlers: New Allies (PS4) – strategy and battle game
- Stranded: Alien Dawn (PS4 and PS5) – planet survival sim
- Cat Quest (PS4) – open world RPG where you must rescue at catnapped sister
- Cat Quest 2 (PS4) – play as a cat or dog and try to reclaim your throne
- The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game (PS4) – video game of the popular film.
- Watch Dogs (PS4) – hunt those who hurt your family by using your hacking skills to influence the city’s network.
Classic Games additions:
- 2Xtreme (PS4 and PS5) – multidiscipline racing game
- G-Police (PS4 and PS5) – take on strategic combat and flight missions as you take on the criminals
- Worms Pinball (PS4 and PS5) – Worms’ take on the pinball sim.
It should also be noted that for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members: some titles, such as Horizon Zero Dawn, will leave Game Catalog when these new titles come online – so if you want to play them, better get onto it quickly!
While Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great addition, there will be no new major franchise releases on PlayStation before April 2025.
