Summer is here, the traditional time of year for campfires and toasting marshmallows before combining them with graham crackers. But have you ever thought ‘gee, I wish I could have this with noodles?’ Yes? Then you are in luck…

No, this isn’t a joke – Cup Noodles are introducing a Campfire S’mores flavor this summer.

Gooey, sweet noodles

Nissin Foods USA, the company behind Cup Noodles, says the new flavor is ‘a gooey, sweet noodle experience’ that combines the unmistakable blend of decadent chocolate, mashmallow and graham cracker flavors with a smokey note – obviously blended with the usual ramen noodles. Nissin even say that customers could even top off the ramen with graham cracker pieces and mini marshmallows.

“Since its invention nearly 100 years ago, the beloved s’more has been adapted into a wide range of food flavors, recipes and now ramen,” said Priscila Stanton, senior vice president, marketing Nissin Foods USA. “As enthusiasts seek new ways to get their s’mores fix beyond the great outdoors, we couldn’t resist joining the campfire fun by transforming the classic flavor into a bold, unexpected experience that will capture the hearts and palates of consumers nationwide.”

Unexpected flavors

This isn’t the first time that Cup Noodles has introduced some, how shall we put it, interesting new flavors recently. Last year, we had Breakfast Ramen, which included the flavors of pancakes, maple syrup, sausage and eggs. At Halloween time, Cup Noodles released a Pumpkin Spice version, because every company seemingly does.

If you want to give this summer flavor experience a try, the limited edition is available in the USA in Walmart stores.
