Margot Robbie, star of Barbie and many other films, is expected her first child, according to multiple sources.

People cited multiple sources as confirming that Robbie, 34, who has been married to British director Tom Ackerley since 2016, is pregnant. Pictures are also circulating on the internet purporting to show Robbie with a baby bump. However, neither Robbie nor Ackerley have officially responded to the speculation as yet.
The couple first met in 2013 on the set of Suite Francaise, a World War II drama that Robbie starred in, while Ackerley was an assistant director. They married in December 2016 in a ceremony in Bryon Bay in Robbie’s native Australia.
They generally keep their relationship out of the spotlight, although have occasionally offered insights into their lives. In an interview recently with The Sunday Times in the UK, Ackerley joked that that their biggest arguments came over chocolate biscuits – specifically whether Australian Tim Tams or British Penguins were petter.

Robbie and Ackerley are both part of production company LuckyChap, along with friends Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. The company has produced several hit films in recent years, including ice skating drama I, Tonya, the Harley Quinn film Birds of Prey and Barbie – all of which featured Robbie in a starring role.
Barbie was the biggest grossing movie of 2023, taking $1.44 billion at the global box office. However, the film was largely ignored by the Oscars, where the film only received four nominations.
There has been speculation that there may be a Barbie 2, but nothing has been confirmed. If Robbie is indeed pregnant, then it could mean that any potential sequel may have to wait for some time while she takes a maternity break.
