- New Asus laptop has built in scent dispenser in the lid
- Comes with a range of three fragrances initially
- The powerful laptop also comes with a range of accessories, including perfume

When you are buying a new laptop, what do you look for? The amount of memory it has, the power in it or even the size of the screen? But what about how it smells? If you replied yes to the latter, then you are in luck with the latest in laptop technology.
Range of fragrances
Manufacturer Asus has released a new notebook, the Adol Book 14, and it comes with a built-in scent dispenser – housed in the center of the lid – and a range of fragrances.
Asus has produced this laptop in collaboration with fragrance and fashion brand Anna Sui and initially comes with a range of three scents – Basil and Mandarin, Rose of Man’s Land and the more ambiguous ‘Be a New Her’. The scent blocks can be slid into the dispenser and last a set time, so they must be replaced every once in a while.
But this isn’t the only selling point for the laptop – it has a 14-inch screen, 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD so it is pretty powerful. In addition, including on the space bar on the keyboard are the words ‘live your dream’.
Accessories
Those who buy the laptop, which comes in purple, can also get a matching carry case, as well as various other accessories, including a 50ml bottle of Anna Sui’s Wishing Elf perfume.
It is currently available in China for the equivalent of about £970. But if you are interested in buying one, sadly it is only available there – for now. However, do not despair as it is thought that other manufacturers may be working on something similar.
