- Prime Video’s new animated anthology series takes in 15 popular video game titles
- Date that the series will premiere has also been announced

Secret Level, the new adult animated anthology series, which will contain short stories set within the universes of popular video games, has been given a release date by Prime Video.
Worldwide premiere
The series, which will comprise 15 episodes, will premiere worldwide on December 10. The announcement was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live global livestream.
Each episode will focus on stories set in classic and new video game titles, going right through the history of the medium and is billed as a celebration of games and gamers. The full list of games is:
- Armored Core
- Concord
- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- PlayStation – this includes several famous PlayStation Studios titles
- Sifu
- Spelunky
- The Outer Worlds
- Unreal Tournament
- Warhammer 40,000.
More game IP than ever
Amazon MGM Studios say that each episode of Secret Level serves as a gateway to a new adventure, unlocking exciting worlds from beloved gaming classics and highly anticipated new titles. Amazon also claims the series brings together more game IP in a single series than ever before.
As reported by Deadline, Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, said that Secret Level “weaves a tapestry of iconic games across multiple mediums, to tell a series of unique and captivating stories.”
Secret Level is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio. The show has been created by Tim Miller, who is also serving as executive producer. Dave Wilson is also on board as an executive producer as well as supervising director. The creative team behind the show have form, having brought Love, Death & Robots to Netflix.
