He’s the drummer of one of the world’s most famous rock bands
But beneath his heavily-tattooed exterior, Travis Barker has always made it known that he’s a doting dad at heart.
And if the world needed even more proof, his daughter Alabama provided them with it this week.
In a video shared with her 4.8 million TikTok followers, the 18-year-old influencer shared a sweet montage of her famous father, 48, leaving her video messages when she’s unable to answer a FaceTime call.
Tagging her dad in the caption, Alabama wrote, “My dad is my hero, I couldn’t ask for a better man to be my father. I cried making this, he is my everything.”
In the clips – which racked up 34.7 million views – Barker can be seen blowing kisses to his daughter and telling her he loves her.
“I’m going on stage, I love you,” he says in one part, whereas another shows him in his airplane seat as he says, “Baby, I love you so much, we’re getting ready to take off.”
In another, he jokingly chastises, “It’s not nice to ignore me… I love you.”
Blink-182 star Barker shares Alabama and son Landon, 20, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, whom he divorced from in 2008. The rocker remarried in 2022 to Kourtney Kardashian, and the pair welcomed their son Rocky on November 4 last year.
Barker is also still very close to his step daughter Atiana De La Hoya from his first marriage. She regularly appeared in episodes of The Kardashians, where she was labeled on screen as Barker’s ‘daughter’.
‘You’d better answer that man’s calls!’
Of course, fans went wild in the comments for the TikTok, which racked up 6 million likes and 20.6k comments.
“This is why I’ll always love Travis Barker ‘til the day I die,” wrote one, while another added, “This is the sweetest, purest thing ever, Alabama.”
Some reflected on their own relationships with their fathers, with many “crying in daddy issues”.
“The dad I wish I had,” said one, as another person followed, “Crying in therapy bills that I wouldn’t have if my dad communicated like this.”
Others told Alabama that her “standards must be HIGH” because her father is an “absolute gentleman”, and begged her to call him back.
“You better answer that man’s calls. He loves you,” said one, while another added, “If you don’t pick up that phone!!!”. Alabama replied, “I swear I do! This is 5 calls out of 1million.”
Thankfully, Barker didn’t mind his personal messages being shared with the Internet – and also commented, “I love you to the moon and back,” adding a rocket emoji.
