Fortnite’s Strong Fashion Game
Epic Games is stepping up Fortnite’s style game with an exciting new cosmetic: “Kicks.” These new customizable shoes are the product of Studio’s collaboration with Nike and Jordan and will be available from November 12.
Fortnite introduced this new addition in a recent blog post,
“ We’re bringing self-expression to a whole new level with the introduction of Kicks (a.k.a. shoes), a new type of cosmetic.”
Players can grab Nike and Jordan Kicks either in the item shop or through the “Remix Pass.” Post further revealed that initially, shoes will fit with a limited number of character outfits- the most popular ones but assured that later they will expand to the rest of the outfits as well.
The team mentioned,
“ Kicks will be compatible with over 500 of the most popular Fortnite Outfits to start, with more than 95% of Outfits compatible by Spring of next year.
While there are a few Outfits that are particularly challenging to style Kicks for, we’re working hard to make sure that as many Outfits as possible can throw on a fresh pair.”
The addition of Kicks is the symbol of Fortnite’s creativity and this is just the beginning as Epic Games hinted that there will be more collaborations with other brands in the future, setting a stage for the new fashion era in the all-time favorite game.
