Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy’s long-disappointed fans can cheer up now, Rockstar Games has just dropped a surprising massive update for the Definitive Edition, bringing improvements and nostalgic features to the remastered collection.
Fans’ Voices Finally Heard!
The game first hit the shelves in 2021 and received constant criticism for bugs, missing features, being nowhere near the original versions, and more. Players shared feedback and brought developers’ attention to the issues, hoping to get fixed soon.
Rockstar is now responding with a series of updates, uplifting the game from the dead, and aiming to win back fans’ hearts. However, it is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, currently excluding the Switch.
GTA: Trilogy Revamped
The lighting mode, originally released on mobile last year, re-creates the skies and lighting effects from the PS2 era. Fans can activate this setting through the in-game options menu, where it’s enabled by default.
