Happy Gilmore 2 looks to continue the trend. Netflix has revealed a lineup of sports stars set to appear in the beloved film, including plenty of golfing greats.
Golfers appearing in Happy Gilmore 2

Several big names from the golf world will make appearances in the film. Among them is PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy, alongside fan-favorite John Daly, known for his big personality. Rising star Collin Morikawa will also join the cast, along with legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus and 1995 PGA Championship winner Corey Pavin.
Other confirmed golfers include Rickie Fowler, former Masters champion Jordan Spieth and Tony Finau. Meanwhile, Lexi Thompson will represent the LPGA, bringing star power from the women’s game.
The latest additions to the cast include world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, major champions Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Bryson DeChambeau, as well as Keegan Bradley and Will Zalatoris – who is a doppelganger for Sandler’s caddy in the first Happy Gilmore movie. Xander Schauffele will also make a cameo, along with Lee Trevino, who returns to reprise his role from the original Happy Gilmore, adding a fun throwback to the franchise.
What sports stars outside of golf are making cameos?
In addition to the star-studded list of golfers, Happy Gilmore 2 will feature appearances from several notable athletes across other sports. Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is set to make a cameo, along with former New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush.
Kelce revealed, speaking on the Pat McAfee Show that it was “a dream come true” working with Sandler. He teased that he’s in “a few scenes” and “got a pretty hefty load,” filming his scenes during a bye week from his duties on the football field.
WWE professional wrestler Becky Lynch will also appear in the film. Lynch seemingly confirmed this in an Instagram post that read “The price is right, Becks. @netflix #HappyGilmore2”. Maxwell Jacob Friedman, best known as MJF, who wrestles in AEW, the rival promotion to WWE, has also been cast in an undisclosed role.
