Experience Nostalgia with Launch Royale

In the latest Apex Legends update, “From the Rift,” Respawn Entertainment has introduced some surprising changes and has brought a nostalgic twist to the game- the temporary addition of “Launch Royale”.

This mode is developed to rewind the clock and take players to the Apex Legend in 2019 by offering the classic weapons, legends, and the vibe of initial gameplay that players used to love. In the update post, EA mentioned,

“ Step back in time to the experience that started it all: Launch Royale. This new LTM drops players into the original Apex Legends circa 2019—it’s the old-school weapons, Legends, abilities, ruleset, and map that started it all. That means no EVO Armor or Ability Upgrades—just pure skill and your wits to survive the Apex Games.”

Launch Royale mode is all about sticking to the OG Apex and no item that belongs to the contemporary era.

New Features and Character Updates

In the previous update, Apex made changes in one of its weapons- Akimbo Mozambique got nerfed and now alterations are made in classes- Lifeline and Support class. Lifeline is not just about healing anymore- can heal and fight effectively.  Take a look at what EA has to say about Lifeline,

“The original medic is now a frontline menace! Lifeline dives into action with an aggressive new kit, the ability to teleport D.O.C. to your allies, glide for unmatched mobility, and deploy an indestructible force field that amps up healing efficiency for your squad. She’s not just saving lives—she’s fighting her way to the Champions Podium.”

speaking of the Support class it has got an update as a whole- can heal while moving at full speed and can revive teammates 25% faster and offer them a health boost afterward. Moreover, there are Rift Relics– mysterious spots in the sky providing players with special items and weapons.

Although the Apex Legends sequel is nowhere to be seen yet, the team is committed to improving the current game to enhance the gaming experience and shape it into a better version.
