  • But the actor can’t make up her mind about where to display them!

Ariana Grande is by far from the only actor to take a souvenir home from a movie set.

But the Wicked star, 31, is the proud owner of something very unusual… co-star Cynthia Erivo’s prosthetic ears!

The pair – who are both nominated at the upcoming Oscars for their roles as Elphaba and Glinda in the Jon M. Chu-directed film – previously revealed that Grande had stolen the weird item.

But what she’s really having trouble with is knowing where to display them in her home.

“Right now, they’re just, like, next to the printer,” Grande admitted in a recent BBC Radio 1 interview. “With, like, pens and printer and then Cynthia’s ears.”

Joking that she sometimes pranked guests by “putting out a tray of whatever, I’ll just kind of leave them nearby to see if anyone gets a little confused,” Grande clarified, “I’m just kidding. I’ve never done that, but I will. No, yeah, they’re next to the printer for now.”

While the Dangerous Woman singer thinks that “framing them is weird”, interviewer Ali Plumb had another suggestion.

“I think hide them in the downstairs loo and just have them there with no context, don’t explain them, that’s where they live,” he said, prompting Grande to reply, “I love it.”

Why did Cynthia Erivo have fake ears in Wicked?

We know what you’re thinking… Why on earth did Erivo have prosthetic ears made to take on the role of Elphaba in the first place?

And the answer is actually pretty simple: she has too many piercings!

“I have a million piercings, so they brought in a prosthetic artist, who created basically a shell for my ears,” Erivo confessed in November. “Those aren’t my ears!”

It also sounds like Erivo isn’t the only person Grande took a memento from.

She also noted that she took “a piece of Johnny Bailey [who plays Fiyero]… that he gave me.”

While it sounds fairly ominous, Grande declined to shed any further information about it at the time because it’s a “movie two spoiler”… so I guess we’ll have to wait until Wicked: For Good hits our screens this November to find out what it is!

Did Ariana Grande take anything else from the Wicked set?

As she’s admitted to taking Erivo’s fake ears and an undisclosed item from Bailey, did Grande take anything else from the Wicked set?

It turns out that yes, of course she smuggled out some more props.

“It’s just a question of, ‘What did we leave? What didn’t we take?’” Grande joked.

Noting that she took her character Glinda’s wand and books (well, why wouldn’t you?), Grande added that she also sneaked “several snow globes from the Emerald City”.
