He’s one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars.
And while we’re sure he could woo any person he chooses, Barry Keoghan has this week shown himself to be a real lover boy – through the medium of TikTok.
The Saltburn actor, 31, hasn’t shared a video to the video streaming app since December 2021.
But despite his inactivity, eagle-eyed fans noticed that he has logged back into his account for a very important reason – to follow Sabrina Carpenter.
Carpenter is now the only person that Keoghan is following on the platform. While fans of the singer, 25, rushed to see if she had reciprocated, they noticed she is also only following one other person – but her profile settings mean that her following list is private.
While the slight interaction may appear to be meaningless, it’s actually a very big deal – as the couple have been plagued with break up rumors in recent months.
After meeting in September last year, the pair were spotted having a romantic dinner together three months later, and made their first public appearance at W’s Grammys after-party in February.
The Oscar-nominee was later seen supporting his girlfriend as she performed at a string of festivals around the world, including Coachella – where she referenced his role in Saltburn by changing her outro to her song, Nonsense, while he looked on.
“Made his knees so weak, he had to spread mine. He’s drinkin’ my bath water like it’s red wine. Coachella, see you back here when I headline,” she sang.
The pair later attended the Met Gala together, Carpenter’s 25th birthday party, and Keoghan starred in the music video for her hit record, Please, Please, Please.
However, in recent months, the couple have dealt with speculation that they had called time on their relationship after less than a year together.
Barry drops another clue
That’s not the only time Keoghan has fanned the flames lately on reports his romance with Carpenter is heating up again.
In a TikTok video with Dazed, the star was asked what he would be if he wasn’t an actor.
“I think like an astronaut… do you know what I mean?” he replied.
While the reply is innocent enough, Carpenter recently performed at the VMAs – and was surrounded on stage by, you guessed it, astronauts.
Fans were also quick to point out that Keoghan’s outfit in the clip matches Carpenter’s lyrics for Bed Chem, a track from her new album which is supposedly about her beau.
“Who’s the cute boy with the white jacket and the thick accent?” she croons – while Dublin-born Keoghan did wear a white coat in his brief interview with the outlet at the Burberry SS25 show.
But sleuthing aside, it does appear that the couple themselves have confirmed they’re officially back on – as they were spotted having dinner together in New York on September 10.
In the fan footage, Keoghan can be seen with his arm around Carpenter’s shoulders.
