The Black Mirror season 7 release date has finally been confirmed as Netflix whet our appetite with a brand new trailer and a first look at upcoming episodes. 

“We’d like to welcome you back…” The trailer begins, plugging us straight back into the show’s signature dystopian future where the digital world swiftly devolves into cyber nightmares.

The trailer takes us on a whistle-stop tour of all of its star-studded upcoming episodes. We also get glimpses of performances from the likes of Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Awkwafina, Emma Corrin and more. 

Black Mirror season 7 will also see the return of Will Poulter, who previously starred in the interactive Black Mirror episode Bandersnatch.

Elsewhere, this upcoming batch of episodes will also feature a follow up to the much-loved USS Callister episode from the show’s fourth season.

Black Mirror season 7 has an all-star cast. However, we currently don’t know which upcoming episodes many of them fit into.

Among the big names set to star in season 7, Netflix has already confirmed Firebrand’s Patsy Ferran, The Holdovers’ Paul Giamatti, Citadel’s Osy Ikhile, Parks and Recreation’s Rashida Jones, Blade Runner 2099 star Lewis Gribben, Domino Day’s Siena Kelly, Road House’s Billy Magnussen and Blue Jean’s Rosy McEwen.

The streamer has also confirmed a list of new stars to join the show. These include This is Going To Hurt’s Michael Workéyè, A Thousand Blows’ James Nelson-Joyce, Say Nothing’s Josh Finan, People Just Do Nothing’s Asim Chaudhry and Hard Truths Michele Austin.

Elsewhere, Black Mirror season 7 will also include appearances from previously confirmed stars like Chris O’Dowd, Jimmi Simpson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae and Paul G. Raymond.
