Call of Duty has recently rolled out Season 1 Ranked Play mode updates, gripping enough to keep the players on the edge of their seats.
Skill-Centered Ranked Play Enhancements
The S 1, launching on November 14 is bringing an array of new content and changes to Ranked Play- will be more skill-centered. The post mentioned,
“The core tenets of Ranked Play remain the same: You’re here to play competitive Multiplayer matches using the same settings, maps, modes, and weapon restrictions as the Call of Duty League. Black Ops 6 Ranked Play comes with several streamlined features, innovations, and updates”
Ranked play will include the game modes- Hardpoint, control, and Search and destroy. Each player can rank up from Bronze to elite Top 250– for best players, reflecting the true capabilities. The team further mentioned in the post,
“Every season, finishing first on the Top 250 Black Ops 6 Ranked Play leaderboard now comes with the ultimate bragging rights; an exclusive Skin only awarded to players who accomplish this near-impossible feat! “
New Features and Updates in Season 1
Apart from this players can earn Skill Rating (SR) through wins and upon Lossing it will be deducted. Alongside SR, COD has introduced two new features, designed to offer players more power over gameplay.
The Map and Mode Veto option– allows you to vote and remove the map/mode shown at the start of the match. The second is Forfeit – players can end the match early if it’s not going well, without SR penalties.
This Season will also bring Party Skill Restriction updates, Loss Forgiveness – the first daily loss will be forgiven without SR deduction, and Seasonal Setback – which aims to lessen SR penalties at the end of the season.
The restricted items are still in question, Activision hasn’t shared anything about it yet. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is also going to deliver new maps in this update along with Nuketown Holiday, enhancing the battle experience of this fan-favorite map.
