Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is about to increase the horror in COD fan’s lives with the release of its highly anticipated Zombies map, Citadelle Des Morts, dropping on December 5, plunging players into the icy grip of the Winter scourge.
A dread Zombie Map
At the Season’s start, most details were kept hidden to maintain curiosity, in the November 7 update post, COD mentioned
“Expect a full reveal of all Zombies content just prior to the early December content drop.”
While no exact date was shared at that time, now things have been revealed and Treyarch officially announced it through an X post. This new map promises to deliver an even more thrilling experience.
Players will set out on an adventure into a gloomy, abandoned European castle filled with deadly surprises and secrets waiting to be uncovered. It continues the story from the previous Zombies map, Terminus Island, The characters including—Weaver, Maya, Carver, and Grey—find themselves on a new quest.
While looking for the clues they venture deep into the Citadelle Des Morts, a castle surrounded by a medieval village with ominous vibes. Players will explore the desolate and spine-chilling environment, and putting together all the clues will reveal the piecing together clues that will reveal the sinister past of the castle.
New Tools
But surviving this new map isn’t just about running for your life and hunting down the zombies; Black Ops 6 has packed Citadelle Des Morts with exciting new features.
A new Perk-A-Cola, Wonder Weapons, 18 New Augments, Three New GobbleGum Flavors, and a field upgrade will give players the right set of tools for survival. In addition to these, a hideous new enemy type will stalk the corridors of the castle, keeping players on edge throughout their journey.
However, more information regarding this mode will be shared with the community in the coming days. This update comes hot on the heels of Season 1 of Black Ops 6, which has already introduced a wealth of new content, including maps, weapons, revamped Nuketown, a recently released Hit list event, and more.
