- Blumhouse Games is an offshoot of the horror movie house Blumhouse
- First six games are set to be released later this year and in 2025
- Gives fans chance to immerse themselves in Blumhouse world

Blumhouse has developed a reputation for its horror films in recent years, but now the company is making its first forays into gaming, with six horror-themed games coming later this year and in 2025.
Immerse in the world
Blumhouse Games have created the titles with independent designers from all over the world and announced the first titles at Summer Games Fest.
Jason Blum, founder of Blumhouse, says the gaming division gives fans the chance to immerse themselves in the Blumhouse world.
Game synopses
Forthcoming games include Fear the Spotlight, from Cozy Game Pals, which will be out before the end of 2024. This game centers on two teens who break into a school after hours and find out about a tragedy that happened many years ago.
Also on the roster is Sleep Awake, developed by Eyes Out and designers Cory Davis and Robin Finck. This is billed as a first-person psychedelic horror game set in the distant future, where the hero, Katja, must deal with deadly otherworldly forces.
Crisol: Theater of Idols is an adventure game set in Spain, where the protagonist must fight against statues that come to life. Vermila Studios is behind this one.
Perfect Garbage meanwhile has developed Grave Seasons, a riff on the popular farming/town simulation genre, where one resident is a supernatural serial killer.
The Simulation, a horror mystery game, has been developed by Playmestudio. It centers on a retired game designer who has evidence of a crime – but it is on a never-seen horror game.
Finally, there is Project C, from Half Mermaid Productions and designers Sam Barlow and Brandon Cronenberg, which is cryptically described as twisted and heartbreaking.
One of Blumhouse’s biggest movie successes was Five Nights at Freddy’s, which was based on the popular horror games. Whether any of these games makes in onto the big screen in the future remains to be seen.
