Team Jade’s multiplayer shooter, Delta Force, has been performing amazingly since its release, and now it has added more fun for players by adding a new single-player campaign, which is named Black Hawk Down.

Black Hawk Down: A Thrilling Yet Brutal Addition

This new addition is inspired by the movie carrying the same name and will take players to the thrilling location of Mogadishu, Somalia, for a more intense battlefield experience.

It is described in the official announcement blog post as “Mogadishu, 1993. Operation Gothic Serpent. What began as a routine mission to capture enemy lieutenants descended into chaos when two Black Hawks were shot down.

U.S. forces found themselves trapped and outnumbered, fighting for survival in the heart of enemy territory. Now, you can experience the intensity of that fateful day firsthand.”

The Delta Force: Black Hawk Down campaign has been launched to make the game more stirring and this will add depth to the battling experience with the use of Unreal Engine 5 to offer players enhanced graphics.

The gameplay includes teaming up of players, with four individuals joining hands to complete the objectives. There is also a variety of classes and gears to choose from.

Moreover, the most surprising aspect is that this campaign is totally free despite the fact that developers are tough to make it paid at first. The tips to play it have also been shared on the official site:

  • Mission Objectives First: Always complete your primary objectives.
  • Observe, Then Act: Recklessness leads to disaster. Assess the situation carefully before engaging the enemy.
  • Help Your Squadmates: Revive downed teammates quickly. Some classes can provide crucial support with Med Kits and Ammo Packs.
  • Stay Vigilant: Enemies can appear from anywhere. Constantly scan your surroundings to avoid ambushes.

Too Tough? Players Struggle to Survive

Although the campaign had a good start, many players have been disappointed and complained that it is quite tough for solo players and shouldn’t have been extremely difficult.

It doesn’t offer an ample amount of ammo and other health resources unless a player has someone playing the support class. The players who set out on solo battles have found themselves with a horde of enemies, and they don’t even have enough resources for survival.

The model has gained a negative rating on Steam; one user commented, “This makes it incredibly difficult as a solo player to the point where it’s not even an option unless you’re looking to try as hard as possible and constantly die and restart.”

Another highly criticized aspect is there are no checkpoints, if players have invested significant time on objective, upon dying they will have to start all over again, another user said, “No ammo, no health, no new guns… no No checkpoints. You die? Game over.”

However, not everyone is against the difficulty level. Rather, they appreciate it, but most of the players aren’t pleased by having such a gaming experience where their survival has become nearly impossible.

Suggestions have been given to the developers, now fans are looking forward to the action, but for now they have to choose either they want to dive in the challenge or if they would just step back and wait for the new updates.
