• Hailie Jade Scott has married her partner Evan McClintock, with her father Eminem by her side
  • The dad and daughter duo were pictured dancing together at her wedding
  • Eminem previously revealed how Scott had ‘made me proud for sure’ for dating McClintock

She’s grown up in the public eye thanks to her famous father.

And last weekend, Hailie Jade Scott became ‘a wife’ – with her dad Eminem firmly by her side.

The influencer and podcaster, 28, shared her happy news on social media after a weekend of festivities.

In a carousel of photos posted to her 3.2 million Instagram followers, Hailie looked radiant in her strapless white gown, complete with a long train. In another photo, her now-husband Evan McClintock looked emotional in his black tux, as he appeared to watch his bride walk down the aisle.

“Waking up a wife this week,” Scott told her 3.2 million Instagram followers. “We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that traveled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife.”

Of course, rapper Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers – was sure to make an appearance on his daughter’s big day.

In one photo shared with People magazine, the Slim Shady singer can be seen dancing with his daughter; and he cut a serious figure in another with Scott and McClintock (although we’re hoping he appeared a little happier than that throughout the ceremony!).

‘She’s made me proud for sure’

Scott’s wedding day comes after a 15 month engagement to partner McClintock.

The couple met while students at Michigan State University and had dated for six years before McClintock popped the question – but not without asking Scott’s famous father first!

In an interview on his partner’s Just a Little Shady podcast, McClintock revealed that it was during Scott’s birthday party in December 2022 that he asked for Eminem’s blessing to propose.

“I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time,'” he said. “So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake and made it happen.”

It sounds as though McClintock certainly has Eminem’s approval.

In a 2020 interview on Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Eminem told the boxer of Scott, “No babies. Just a boyfriend. She’s doing good. She’s made me proud for sure.”
