The Traitors US is coming back for a third season.
The faithful audience is getting very excited about all the drama and deceit on the show. The smash-hit reality series is an international affair. It began life in The Netherlands before spawning versions in countries such as Australia and the UK.
The anticipation for the return of the American edition was ramped up on New Year’s Day when a seven-minute snippet of the show dropped.

The clip set the internet alight. It showed host Alan Cumming greeting the star-studded cast, pulling up to the iconic Adross Castle in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Who is competing on The Traitors US season 3?
Veterans from a number of reality television shows will enter the castle in the Scottish Highlands. They will be gauging if they can outsmart the traitors or kill off all the faithful to snag the jackpot.
These names include Bob The Drag Queen, the ninth winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause and Vanderpump Rules villain Tom Sandoval.
The Real Housewives franchise is well represented with fan favourite Dorinda Medley. The ex-New York instalment star will be joined by New Jersey’s Dolores Catania and Potomac’s Robyn Dixon. The Real Housewives of Dubai even has Chanel Ayan in attendance.
Survivor is another show with a strong contingent of competitors appearing on the Traitors US season 3. These include Carolyn Wiger, Jeremy Collins, and Tony Vlachos.
Britney Spears’s ex-husband Sam Ashgari, British royalty Lord Ivar Mountbatten and WWE wrestler Nikki Garcia are also signed up for castle chaos.
Zac Efron’s little brother Dylan is also joining the fun. He comes alongside Summer House star Ciara Miller, Big Brother’s Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes.
The Biggest Loser personal trainer Bob Harper also thinks he’s in with a chance for treachery paying off.
Bachelor Nation has a faction too, with Gabby Windey and Wells Adams both heading to Scotland.
Did they unveil a twist in the clip?
Well, of course, they did. When Cumming greeted the guests on the steps of the estate, he was surrounded by a group of cloaked and masked figures.
“How intriguing…’ the actor told the gang. “This game is all about tough decisions and this is the first of many.
“This is not one of my followers, this is someone who is dying to join our little game,” Cumming continued.
“If any of you would like them to join us, it’s quite simple. Just step forward and shake my hand.
“However, the person that shakes my hand will then choose another player who will be exiled from my castle immediately.”
The player was revealed to be Rob Mariano, who has previously appeared on Survivor before going on to shows like Deal or No Deal.
The outcome of the immediate banishment was, however, not shown.
What will happen in the third season of The Traitors?
Well, we don’t know exactly what will happen. However, previous seasons have given us a pattern to follow.
Typically in the first episode, Cumming will pick three celebs to be the Traitors who plot and strategise to kill off the rest of the group. The remainder of the group are known as the Faithful, who ideally work together to identify and banish the Traitors.
If the Faithful cannot identify a traitor, they will weaken themselves by sending home one of their own.
If there are any Traitors left by the end of the game, the rest do not get to collect any of the prize money earned in the challenges.
Where can I watch the third season of The Traitors US?
Episodes will be landing on the streaming service Peacock on 9 January 2025. The first three episodes will mark the premiere.
It will also air on NBC on 20 January at the same times.
When is it airing?
The trio of episodes are landing on 9 January at 8 pm EST and 9 pm PST. They will then follow on weekly. It is expected to run for a total of 12 episodes.
The NBC timeslot will also be 8 pm EST and 9 pm PST.

Can I catch up on the rest of the seasons?
The two previous series are currently available on Peacock.
