Girls everywhere will be seated on Friday for a new documentary, but it’s not about who you’d think. It’s not a celebrity but UK influencer Molly-Mae Hague who is starring in her documentary, Molly-Mae: Behind It All. The highly-anticipated documentary will come out at the end of the week.

People are curious about the documentary because they are wondering what the 25-year-old will address. Will she talk about her controversial business Maebe, Love Island, or her split from her boxer ex Tommy Fury? Fury and Hague broke the internet in August 2024 when they announced on Instagram that they had split after five years of dating. The couple met on season 5 of the hit UK dating show Love Island where they started their relationship. They welcomed their daughter Bambie in January 2023 and became engaged that July.

The sneak peek into the doc promises to be juicy and real, but what is actually known about Molly-Mae: Behind It All?

Who is Molly-Mae Hague?

Molly-Mae Hague was born on 26 May 1999 in Hertfordshire, England. Her parents were police officers and she has an older sister, Zoe Hague. She was an influencer before she entered Love Island, posting on Instagram and YouTube and working with brands in the UK.

However, her fame skyrocketed when she entered the fifth season of Love Island UK as a bombshell and coupled up with her now ex-Fury. Fury is a boxer and is the younger half-brother of famous boxer Tyson Fury.

Fury and Hague were runners-up in the series, losing to Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea. Since the show, Molly-Mae has gone on to have many major successes. Her first big career move was in August 2021 when she signed a £500,000 deal with Pretty Little Thing to become their creative director. Previously she was a brand ambassador for them. Quite the career jump. Mae also launched her tanning line, Filter By Molly-Mae in 2019 and in 2024 she launched her clothing line, Maebe. Most recently, she has starred in her documentary.

What is Molly-Mae: Behind It All about?

The tagline for Molly-Mae: Behind It All is “Behind the lens”, promising fans a real look into Hague’s life. Essentially it is a tell-all series that shows the influencer behind her businesses, relationships, and social media profile. There are glimpses of Hague talking about her split from Fury and the heartbreak that came with it.

The trailer also features some of her family members, including her sister, and daughter, and a glimpse into her businesses. Nobody is sure it will be like The Kardashians, but hopefully, it’ll be less filtered.

Who is in Molly-Mae: Behind It All?

The shining star of the documentary is Hague. However, the documentary does show her family, including her sister, who is talking about her personality off-camera. Her grandma also makes a hilarious appearance, as do some of her friends, daughter Bambi, and even Fury.

Fury can be seen in parts of the documentary on Facetime and phone calls with his ex, although it hasn’t been confirmed whether he will appear on camera. The boxer hasn’t had the best press since he and Hague broke up because of rumors that he cheated on her. Although he denied the rumors, stories swirled about Fury cheating on Mae while he was on holiday and away from home.

Adding fuel to the fire, the break-up statement that the Maebe founder released raised eyebrows. Hague wrote on Instagram: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.

“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

However, Fury denied cheating rumors in his autobiography Lighting Can Strike Twice: My Life As A Fury. He called Hague his “dream girl” and said, “The truth will come out in the end”.

The truth just came out. In an interview with Men’s Health, Fury said the reason for his split with Hague was because he was addicted to alcohol.

He reflected on his drinking, saying: “Where I’d normally be in camp, I’d just be smashing Guinness left, right and center, then later on in the night shots would come out. Most nights I would drink to get black-out drunk.”

He also said on his split: “All I’ve been seeing for the past six months is ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter bollocks. We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink”.

Maybe it will be covered in the documentary?

When will Molly-Mae: Behind It All be released?

The documentary will be released on January 17 when the first three episodes will be released. The other three will be released later, according to a recent vlog by the influencer.

The documentary was first announced in November. It is fitting, you know, new year, new me and all of that. However, recently the mom-of-one raised eyebrows on her relationship status again because she was allegedly spotted kissing her ex at a New Year’s Eve party. Everyone has been there.

She gave more insight into her documentary and spoke about the release schedule in her recent YouTube vlog. The tea was split, because she did say that New Year’s kiss would be addressed. Well….sort of.

On the format of the documentary, she said: “The overall documentary is six episodes. The first three drop on the 17th of this month with Amazon Prime. And we’re currently in the process of filming the secondary lot of three that will drop a couple of months later”.

Mae described the filming process as “real-time” and said, “If the cameras need to come round at ten o’clock at night to film some realness, then that’s what we’ve got to do”. Realness is all you need!

The cryptic address towards the New Year’s kiss could be a reference to the “crisis” Hague said “broke out” the other day. Online, fans were furious after hearing of a kiss between Fury and Hague on January 1. The anger was due to all of the press concerning the cheating rumors and the sympathy for Hague after splitting from Fury. Regardless of the media, nobody knows what happened until we watch the documentary.

Where can you watch it?

The documentary will be streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime. The second batch of episodes will be released in a few months. An official release date for the last few episodes hasn’t been released yet.

When is the trailer released?

The trailer for Molly Mae: Behind It All was released on December 18, just a month before the premiere date. Although the trailer is short at just over a minute, it keeps the mystery of the documentary alive. Hague isn’t the first influencer to have a show centered on her. US influencer Tana Mongeau once had a reality series with MTV, and TikToker Charli D’Amelio had a reality show on Hulu with her family which was canceled after three seasons.

However, the excitement for Molly Behind It All: is high, because there will be a more human element there, which fans can’t wait for.
